XII Zodiac is a unique Astrological themed buffet restaurant which adds to the iconic stature of Chinar Park. It is Kolkata's first zodiac themed restaurant situated at Chinar Park, Kolkata which serve both buffet and À la carte menu to all the customers. Whenever you think of buffet then Barbeque nation comes to your mind but nowadays the scenario has changed and Kolkatans have started exploring new buffet option places. Great news for the Buffet fans in and around Chinar Park area that XII Zodiac is back action after such a long time. Slowly after Unlock 2.0 was announced in the country as the food industry is adjusting with its new norms and we all are adapting into this new normal phase. Buffet lovers in town get new buffet place to try out in form of XII Zodiac in this post lockdown phase. The prices of this XII Zodiac buffet are quite reasonable, and the quality is good. Being a buffet lover, I am always on the lookout for good buffets place. Was off lately exploring nearby Chinar Park for some good buffet restaurants. This place got me interested with its widespread buffet menu, so I dropped in with my friends during the lunch to try their buffet options and the beautiful buffet spread. 😋 XII Zodiac launched a Weekend Brunch Buffet which will be served every week, Friday to Sunday from now onwards.
📍 Location: This buffet restaurant is at the 2nd Floor of Fern Residency Hotel, Noapara, Chinar Park. Kolkata. It is very near to the City Centre 2, Chinar Park.
▶ Ambience/Décor/Service: Speaking of Ambience of the place, it was soothing and warm ambience. The theme of the place is really catchy and the décor very tasteful. They have quite unique tips for all the signs, even so for which dishes to order if you are a certain Zodiac sign It reflects a buffet place well maintained with proper and comfy seating arrangement for both large and small groups. The interior of the place is decorated with different posters on Zodiac signs, a very unique concept. The area is spacious with 30-40 seating capacity and classy decor with buffet counter as well. This buffet restaurant is really good for family gatherings, team meetings for lunch and dinner. Loved their choice of music too. The service of the place is great. The staffs are cordial, well behaved and were very helpful while we were deciding what to order ❤
📌 Safety and Precautions:
Once the Unlock phase 2.0 was announced by the Govt, from the auspicious day of Mahalaya, XII Zodiac has started serving back yet again. Everyone is worried when you go outside to visit the restaurant. But let me tell you as the New normal phase is setting in XII Zodiac is also following all the Precautionary and Safety Guidelines to ensure all the Guests are having a Safe and Secure experience like always.

⚜️ They are using the transparent plastic sheet on the table and which is being removed after every use, this prevents you to touch the table directly
▶ Now coming to real deal which is food and drinks of course. They have a huge setup for the buffet menu. Along with the regular buffet menu, they have 2 Live counters from where you can choose for your Kolkata street food items like Ghugni and Kolkata Rolls. Among the Appetizers options Chicken Olivetti and Lotte Macher Chop need special mentions. The chicken was so nice, the pieces were well marinated. The lotte macher chop was just perfect it was so crunchy on the outside and deliciously juicy on the inside.

Among the main course section, the Kofta Bagh-e-Hazim from the veg section and the extremely tempting Lamb Goulash, I have had the best lamb curry over a period of time. It was extremely soft and that pairing with the potato in a lamb curry was just perfect for me. With the rice, it was the ultimate solution to satisfy my tastebuds.

Every dessert is worth a shot. Especially the Bhapa Sandesh and soft- Hot Langcha. If you are a sweet lover then go for mousse. The texture of the mousse was good.
